What family activities do you enjoy most in the fall?

I am ALL for pumpkin patches, apple cider, trick-or-treating and enjoying the fall festivities. I can't wait. Thanksgiving and Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year and I can't wait to share it with my little man this year. (hopefully he'll be born BEFORE thanksgiving, lol)
ReplyDeletePumpkin patches rule!!:)
ReplyDeleteYou just made me excited for fall. Our favorite fall family activity is COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!! Every Saturday we watch Ohio State wallup their opponents (well most Saturdays they win - not always). We always take at least one trip to the big game and the rest we watch from the comfort of our home with lots of yummy tailgate food!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy all the above you stated! I love fall season and its beauty :) I can't wait to do most of these activities with my family this year especially going to the Fair in late Sept.
ReplyDeleteI love the fall. Pumpkin patches are my favorite thing to do in the fall.
ReplyDeleteI love nature walks. I do this for school too, but sometimes just because. But we go out for a walk and the kids find one thing that they really liked, maybe its a tree or maybe a bug or maybe its a bird. Whatever. Anyway, then we look it up. Education and a walk. But I like that list. I want to do more of those things this fall. I love fall the best but its always too short. Then winter comes and its over. I guess that makes it even more special.
ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite season. I LOVE all of the things that you mentioned.
ReplyDeleteOne small problem...
We don't get a Fall season here. We pretty much go straight from Summer to Winter.
Oh this post makes me so excited for Fall!!! My favorite season, I love love love this time of year. Too bad its so short.
ReplyDeleteThis is getting me excited for fall too! I love all those activities! I especially love the Wearing Jackets and Snuggling activity but it stays hot here most of the time.
ReplyDeleteThe new activity I am doing this year for Fall is getting ready for preschool! My son is going 2 mornings a week. I am totally going to be one of those moms that want to help out with every party! YAY!
Although it's nearly spring here in New Zealand, I love your ideas and your blog!!!
ReplyDeleteGee, they sound wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI wish we had apple orchards here. I think that would be so much fun.
ReplyDeleteThis is the best list!!! I love fall and mostly it's because of everything you listed!! I've already been talking up the pumpkin patch and going up to Apple Hill. I think I'm more excited than the kids are. Every year we go to Apple Hill and along the way we buy a fresh apple pie...when we get home, we warm it up and sit around the table with forks and just gobble it up, right out of the pan!!
ReplyDeleteOh and candy corn!!!!!!! I love candy corn. It would totally make my Halloween if one of my kids would agree to go as a candy corn but they never seem to oblige me. Maybe I'll dress as a candy corn this year.
I love the fall. I can't wait to do some of these activities. I love the cool air and just the smell of fall - perfect!
